Eddie Annison, DVM
Dr. Eddie Annison was born and raised in Zachary, where he graduated Zachary High School in 1984, and began attending Louisiana State University. Dr. Annison was accepted into Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine before completing his undergraduate studies, and he went on to earn his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1992.
Dr. Annison began practicing veterinary medicine at Many Veterinary Hospital, and then moved closer to home to work at Clinton Animal Hospital. He opened Plains Veterinary Hospital in 1997, which has seen tremendous growth due to the compassion, quality medicine, and affordable pricing offered at our hospital.
Dr. Eddie is happily married to his wife Carol and has two sons, Ben Mason and David, a daughter, Leslie, and a granddaughter, Hadley. Dr. Annison and his wife share their home with their border collie dogs Jeaux Jeaux, Jack, Jim, and Zoey, along with their other dogs Baily, Max, and Sam, and two cats named Charlie, and Fleabert. In his minimal spare time, he raises a herd of beef cows, along with a herd of miniature long horns.
